Join Ivana this season for yoga session in a cozy, candlelit studio. Class begins with slow Hatha based flow and then transitions in to a Yin practice with longer, more restorative holds. Finding the balance by surrendering in these passive poses; which your body can relax and release.

Using the Breath combined with this practice will help you find the space to move deeper into the postures, bringing your body and mind into the stillness, peacefulness and the serene.

Asana practice is followed by deep relaxation (Savasana or Yoga Nidra), Pranayama and Meditation.

Open to all levels.

At the centre of Ivana's approach lies a unique system of breathing that stimulates the vital energies of the body. Providing conditioning and balance to the mind and the body's system. This enhances experience of inner strength, clarity and ripples off into a correct and stable postural alignment.

Yin Yoga is a quiet, meditative practice of longer-held passive poses that enhance and renew the body's vital energy, ease joint-rigidity, immobility, and nourish the body at the whole level.

Yin aids with digestion, muscle repair, organ detoxification and emotional processing. The gentle, supported postures allow the connective tissue ( ligaments, tendons, joints, and fascia) to strengthen, and with a consistent practice over 6 weeks, you will notice postural improvement, increased ease of movement and overall balance of mind & body.

The way we live today, so technically connected and with our schedules so filled, we constantly hang out in the stress response. We are attuned to it. It is the 'normal' state for us to be all the time concerned with what is next or how can I fill this moment? What else do I have to or need to do or how can I entertain myself now?
We stay 'on guard' and therefore are chronically activating the stress response. It is part of our goal-achieving mentality and it has served us well...up to a point. And that point is when we cannot turn it off.

We recommend that you know what gets you into the relaxation response (parasympathetic nervous system), and use it often! It is for your health! It is for your better sleep...

Start with simple MEDITATION, move through the YIN YOGA sequence followed by a YOGA NIDRA (yogic sleep)

Ivana will introduce you to a deeply soothing breath technique to experience a better night's sleep.

All finished with cup of tea and little sweet treat to bring you back to a wakeful state.

One day retreat with Live Life Yoga with Ivana & Kristie Becker, Life Coach & Holistic Nutritionist.

This event will be a place where you can simply slow down, bring your mind and body into balance and reconnect to yourself...

We will be exploring our Pancha Maya Koshas (5 layers of our being):

  • Annamaya Kosha (food body) through Asanas (postures) and locally sourced nourishing food prepared with love and care on the day
  • Pranamaya Kosha (energy body) through the full Yogic breath in the Yoga practice
  • Manomaya Kosha (mental body); feelings, thoughts accompanied with beautiful doTERRA essential oils (don't worry, there is no partner work or talking about feelings required!) through Yin Yoga (slower, quiet practice of longer held passive postures)
  • Vijnanamaya Kosha (intuitive sheath of knowledge)
  • Anandamaya Kosha (bliss body) through deep relaxation and meditation.
